The Kindness Trolley is all about community helping community. It provides a simple way for people to donate an extra item while shopping, knowing it will directly support local families doing it tough.
Thanks to the incredible support of local shoppers, a wonderful collection of non-perishable food, toiletries and essential household items was donated to help local individuals and families experiencing hardship. Every contribution — big or small — helps ensure we can continue providing practical support to those in our community who need it most.
Donations support the provision of food hampers and toiletries to local individuals and families experiencing hardship.
The Kindness Trolley is a volunteer-led initiative proudly supported by Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre. Our volunteers generously give their time to organise the trolley, connect with the community and sort donations so they can quickly reach people needing assistance. Their dedication, warmth and community spirit are what make this program possible.
We also extend a heartfelt thank you to Michelle, Di, Tracey and the team at Coles Salamander Bay for their ongoing encouragement and support in hosting the trolley, and to Port Stephens FM 100.9 for helping promote the day and spread the word.
Most importantly, thank you to our incredible community. Your generosity continues to make a real difference, and together we are showing the true power of kindness. 💗
