Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre is pleased to share that we are now funded under the Community and Family Support (CaFS) Community Strengthening program. This transition is an important milestone for our centre and the community we support.

TNC now has a 5.5-year CaFS funding contract, providing stability so we can continue supporting children, young people, families and our community into the future.
Through this funding, TNC is supported to deliver services to children, young people, families and the broader community, ensuring accessible early support, connection and wellbeing opportunities across our region.
We are especially grateful to now have a 5.5-year funding contract, providing stability, continuity and the ability to plan confidently for the future. This longer-term funding allows us to continue delivering responsive, community-led programs while strengthening support for local individuals and families.
Through CaFS, TNC delivers information and referral, advocacy and support, social participation, skills and education, youth and parenting programs, and community connection initiatives.
Under the CaFS Community Strengthening framework, TNC delivers a range of service types that support wellbeing, connection and early support across our community, including:
• Information, Advice and Referral
• Advocacy and Support
• Social Participation programs — including youth programs, parenting programs and community connection activities
• Skills, Education and Capacity Building initiatives
• Community Engagement activities that strengthen inclusion and community wellbeing
These service types guide many of the programs we deliver — from wellbeing and cultural workshops to youth, parenting, education and community connection initiatives that strengthen resilience and support local families.
For our community, this funding means continued access to trusted supports, opportunities to connect and programs that respond to local needs. For TNC, it provides the stability needed to strengthen partnerships, support volunteers and continue delivering services that make a positive difference.
We thank our community, volunteers, partners and supporters who continue to work alongside us — together we are building a stronger, more connected community.
