Tomaree Community Connect Day

This free community event is a collaboration between Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre and the Tomaree Interagency - sponsored by Port Stephens Council.

The free community event will be held on June 20th, 2023 at the Tomaree Library and Community Centre (Waratah Room) from 9:30am - 3:00pm.


The event provides a one-stop-shop for the community to access and connect with a range of support and service providers.

The aim of the event is to provide a space for community members to connect with a rage of support and services providers all under the one roof. Services attending the event include - Tomaree Neighbourhood Centre, Port Stephens Family & Neighbourhood Services, Hunter Tenants, Yacaaba Centre, jupiter, Hunter Primary Care, Gan Gan Family Centre, Services Australia, Legal Aid, Unique Life Services, Carers NSW, Hope Cottage, Seniors Rights, Verto, Vinnies, Uniting, Wahroonga Aboriginal Corporation, Hall & Wilcox and NSW Northern Federation Justice of the Peace.


Community members attending the event will have access to

  • seniors support services

  • financial hardship Support

  • domestic violence support

  • youth counselling services

  • health services

  • indigenous services

  • legal services

  • employment services

  • housing support

  • JP service


A free sausage sizzle will be provided and prepared by Rotary Raymond Terrace.
